Dr. N. ANANDAKUMAR discusses 7 principles of learning: 1) Readiness or motivation refers to a learner's willingness and eagerness to learn something new through attention, interest and curiosity. 2) Effectiveness or satisfying means learning is strengthened when accompanied by a pleasant or satisfying feeling like satisfaction. 3) Practice or exercise means that concepts repeated most often are best remembered through use and disuse. 4) Primacy refers to how things learned first often create strong impressions that are difficult to change, like first impressions. 5) Recency means things learned most recently are best remembered, like recent events. 6) Intensity refers to learning more from intense, real experiences than substitutes, like from movies.
