- Much love from Lumen for all your dedication to the Next Generation Courseware grant to create Waymaker! I was honored to be selected as the institutional lead at Everett Community College to work with the Community Colleges of Spokane.
- John Venn, the inventor of the diagram, describes his visual aid: “We endeavor to employ only symmetrical figures, [that] should not only be an aid to reasoning, through the sense of sight, but should also be to some extent elegant in themselves.”
- I always assume that somebody is new to the conversation, so I start with this definition.
- This is old news to folks in the SBCTC system, and this citation is from 2012. Share the story about a faculty member in Maryland talking about how students weren’t buying the textbook for College Success. “They weren’t able to read the advice that would help them succeed.
