Curriculum and Assessment  While the Standards and curriculum will not change through a 1: World initiative, how students access, collaborate and are assessed on the curriculum will change dramatically  1:World means equitable access to the curriculum, program, and resources 24/7  Enables a seamless connection between the subject matter and resources in any environment – home, cafeteria, weekends, vacation, etc.  Means continuous interaction between the student and online resources – not just when laptops, computer labs, or the “family computer” are available or with teachers who have more access.  Prepares students for a seamless connection from high school to higher ed. and work environments  With appropriate professional development, the one to one initiative will lead to production of higher quality work products for all

Independence: Students can self select sources of information that best meets their needs.
