4. Non Locomotor Movements
These are movements that done in place.
The following are kinds of non-locomotor movements.
Bending - move you neck by bending forward, backward, sideward
right and sideward left.
Rotating – place your hands on your waist and rotate your hips to the
right directions in 8 counts and to left direction in 8 counts.
Twisting – twist your trunk sideward right then twist again to your
left. Continue doing this move alternately right and left in 16 counts.
Raising – Raise right and left knee alternately in 8 counts.
5. Stretching – raise both arms upward and stretch as far as you can.
Perform this in 8 counts.
Swaying – sway your arms sideward right and left.Then try swaying
your legs alternately.
Swinging – Swing both arms upward and downward in 8 counts.
