Internship Report
Our internship report was carried out in University of
Agriculture Faisalabad.
Where we learn the clinical work of medicine, surgery and
theriogenology.

under general anesthesia (Thiopental sodium)

anesthesia through ring block technique.

16. Conclusion
Internship program at University of Agriculture
Faisalabad overall was very informative. Most
common disease at medicine clinic was PPR,
Theileriosis, and Parvoviral infection.
At surgery clinic commonly performed surgery was
castration
While at therio clinic most common case were
Dystocia and pregnancy diagnosis.
17. Suggestion about internship
Most of the diseases were Protozoal like Theileriosis, Babesiosis or
Anaplasmosis are tick-borne disease that can be controlled through
eradication of tick infestation in animals.
Viral diseases in pets like Parvovirus infections can be controlled
through proper vaccination schedule.
Various metabolic diseases like Bloat, Ketosis, and Milk fever can be
prevented through proper feeding management.
Early treatment of bacterial diseases and isolation of infected animals
from healthy animals is necessary after diagnosis of contagious
diseases.
Proper treatment of diseased animals should be necessary.
Proper schedule of De-worming of animals after specific intervals is
necessary.
Professional and technical programs for farmers should be arranged to
educate for eradication and control of the disease.
