Forces can produce changes in objects and transfer energy between bodies. There are two types of forces - contact and non-contact - and forces can change motion or shape. Machines make work easier through simple machines like levers, inclined planes and pulleys or compound machines with multiple parts. Machines require different types of energy like electricity to operate, and an electric circuit uses interconnected components to generate, distribute and use electric current.

FORCE
Energy can produce changes in a body. We transfer energy from one
body to another when we apply a force.
A force can change an objects motion, and a force can cause changes in
the shape of a body. There are two types of forces:
• Contact forces
• Non-contact forces
MACHINES
Machines make work easier.
Types of machines:
• Simple machines: lever, inclined planes, and pulleys.
• Compound machines are made up of different parts.
Machines need different types of energy to work. Many machines work
with electricity.
