There are 17 autonomous
communities and 2 autonomous cities
in Spain.
Each autonomous community divides
into one or more provinces.

MUNICIPALITIES
A province is a territory with certain common
geographical, historical and cultural
characteristics.
Spain has 50 provinces, each province is
formed of several municipalities.
4. GOVERMENTS
National goverment
Spain is a parliamentary and constitutional monarchy.
There is a separation of the three powers Legislative,
Executive and Judicial.
Each autonomous community has a Parlament or
Assembly, a Government and a Court of Justice
