 I think this age range is appropriate
because it is a student age which I think
is the common age range for people
watching short films due to courses but
also as it isn’t so popular so more
students will want to discover them.
 For the storyline, I think you would need a
mature enough audience to want to
watch it as it can be upsetting
 26-32
 This is also a reasonable age range for the
short as they aren’t popular and maturing
adults might not have enough time or the
knowledge of short films to watch.
However, they are still young enough to
know more about them than anyone older I
think.
 Certain they are mature enough to want to
watch a sad war film whereas it wouldn’t
be first choice by teenagers.
 I do believe the primary audience majority
would be students as this is a time to
explore new things.
 With little disposable income, short films are
cheaper to watch either online or going to
independent cinemas rather than a
blockbuster movie in multiplex cinemas.
 New technologies and social networking
might build up popularity for short films and
18to 25 years olds are big users of the
internet and social networking.
