Web Quests are inquiry-oriented activities where most or all of the information used by students is drawn from the web. They typically have 6 distinct sections - an introduction with a hook to engage students, a task that students must complete, a process describing the steps to complete the task, resources students can use to help complete the task, an evaluation section describing how student understanding will be assessed, and a conclusion wrapping up what was learned. This document provides examples of how Web Quests have been used in education and lists some references for further reading on integrating Web Quests and online learning platforms like Moodle into religious education and other subject areas.
