 Hi - Tech Label Industries is today one of the best quality weavers and market
leaders with the computerized technology that now dominates this industry. The
company had run more than (200) shuttles machines in last (40) years.
 The Company began production of silk ribbon in the (1974), Coventry by then was
already famous for its silk weaving.
 Skilled jacquard weavers were settle there soon thousands of local people were
employed in this cottage industry.
 Workers owned their own jacquard looms and the company, like other merchants,
distributed the yarn for them to weave in their homes.
 A fixed price was paid for each finish piece.
 The Company fast outgrew this system ad instead became factory masters, they
were among the first in pioneers of a more enlightened approach to employment.
 In (1980's) the company switched to production of narrow frilling, to Victorian silk
commemoratives and latterly to woven labels & laces with which garment
manufacturer could identify their products.
