A platform for teenagers, where they can showcase and share their initiation and achievements, who has not yet been established. The entrepreneurship, business programs or any other creativity in other fields always have been focused on the “youth” particularly on the students enrolled in postgraduate or even higher level of studies.
This is the sole reason why Glocal Khabar, an online news portal, has taken this initiative to provide them the stage where they get opportunity to share their initiation, creativity, enthusiasm which will, then motivate them and more of the other teenagers in our country to develop an entrepreneurial thinking. Always confused by nature, the so called teenagers to aspire taking steps to follow their heart and dream.
2. One of its own kind, "Glocal Teen Hero Nepal" sowed its seed on 2015 with an aim to recognize the teenagers who have stepped out to
create an impact in the society and nation. Glocal Teen Hero, an initiation to recognize the teenagers who have initiated, achieved outstand-
ing activities to create a ripple effect in the society. We first started from the year 2015, with an achievement of 98 applications where we
recognized the first “Glocal Teen Hero 2015”.
Following the legacy, with the title sponsorship from Wai Wai the second edition of the initiation was commenced as “Wai Wai Glocal Teen
Hero 2016”, with a participation of 281 applications from all over Nepal. The support from the partner organization like UNDP, Indian Embas-
sy, Coca Cola, Honda, etc. dramatically help us develop and succeed in making our vision a reality and contribute in the future endeavors.
The third edition of the initiation is aimed to provide a greater perspective where an international teen conference is being held along with
“Glocal Teen Hero 2017”. Glocal International Teen Conference (GITC) is a day conference organized by Glocal Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu,
staffed entirely by teens and young adults. It is an opportunity for teenagers to authentically address issues that are important to them with-
out having to overcome generational barriers.
It's a platform for knowledge and experience where teenagers can learn about leadership, empowerment and social impact through a partici-
patory and interactive environment with their peers from all over the globe.
The phenomenal response of first & second edition has fuelled our vision further to motivate and empower more & more teenagers, with a
platform that provides them a national recognition for their achievement, initiation and activities. Therefore, with added impetus, we are now
sowing the platform seed at India with the name, "Glocal Teen Hero India" with a motive to empower teens beyond boundaries.
We are glad to partner with Chatur Ideas. All the Best, Team India for making the India version of Glocal Teen Hero fantastic!

MESSAGE FROM NEPAL
3. Glocal Teen Hero is an award event that is
designed to recognize dedicated, passionate and in-
novative teenagers of Nepal. It is to bring out the
teenagers from the shadows who are doing
something and create a ripple effect in the society.
The overall purpose of this initiation is to motivate
and encourage the teenagers to step out of their
comfort zone, be creative and develop
entrepreneurial thinking. This would provide them a
national recognition and empowerment.
We build a platform to showcase their achievement
and initiation and develop a motivation factor for
teenagers to develop a leadership
quality. Teenagers can compete and earn the rec-
ognition which will then motivate them and more of
the other teenagers in our country to
develop an entrepreneurial thinking.
We provide them a networking opportunity so that their
initiation, achievement can be developed further. The finalists
are further involved with various soft skills, training and
development programs that would develop the leadership and
entrepreneurial skills in those teenagers.
One of the finalists is then awarded as the Glocal Teen Hero
whom we connect with hundreds of delegates from various in-
dustries of Nepal.
