As an adjunct faculty, I have been tasked with various tasks related to the design and creation of
learning materials, and in the delivery of these materials and content through in person teaching
and advising assignments. I would manage and coordinate student discussions and lessons;
provide grading, reviews, and feedback; provide counseling and advising on topics such as
education and careers. At times, I would also be tasked to provide teaching staff and

and equipment adheres to the quality and standards set forth by regulatory and compliancy
organizations and acts such as the Joint Commission (JCAHO) and the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
This translates to managing and enforcing protocols and procedures related to health and safety,
engineering and technical specifications, and service procedures. I also consult for the selection
and implementation of technology and biomedical engineering products and services i.e.,
Perinatal Systems (Phillips OBTraceVue), and Patient remote monitoring and alerting systems
(Masimo Patient SafetyNet). I am also in charge of vendor management, customer relationship
management, and am the primary liaison between clinical and operations departments requiring

My primary roles were to setup and implement policies and procedures for biomedical
technology management. I was also the primary biomedical engineer providing equipment
management as well as the technology point of contact for Hospital systems integration and
implementation projects. I supported various hospital departments in all healthcare delivery
settings, and worked to ensure that all biomedical and technology resources operated as designed
and efficiently supported health delivery objectives. Periodically, I would also provide
equipment assessments and reports, along with recommended capital equipment planning and

system including electrical generators, transfer switches and a centralized Uninterruptable Power
