Civil Engineering Design
Design and documentation of engineering works and preparation of planning reports
associated with major water supply and sewerage projects for local government clients, namely
Logan City Council and Albert Shire Council.
Design work included design of trunk water and sewerage mains; civil and structural design of
small and large water and sewage pumping stations to water service reservoirs. Planning
reports include investigation of future district requirements and planning of water and sewerage
infrastructure necessary to service these requirements. Implementation of CAD systems
involved coordinating survey and engineering design to fully utilise the available civil engineering
design software with the AUTOCAD drawing software to produce an efficient user system.

• Water Supply Planning Report to Worongary District (ult pop 80,000)
• Civil and structural design and project management to 22 ML reservoir at Nerang South
• Civil and structural design and project management to Daisy Hill pumping station.
• Siteworks to Gaven Forest Reservoir Complex - 1 x 20 ML; 2x10 ML service reservoirs -
including access roads, drainage and platform earthworks.
• Design and project management of 5.5 km 600 mm diameter DICL trunk water-main from
Gaven Forest including associated valve pits.
• Design and project management of 4 km 600 mm diameter MSCL trunk watermain from
Reedy Creek to Tallebudgera including associated valve pits and HOPE crossing of
Tallebudgera Creek
• Preparation of a planning report on the Cornubia District Sewerage Scheme for the Logan
City Council
• Design and project management of 4.5 km 300 mm diameter uPVC sewerage rising main
including associated valve pits and three crossings using HDPE of the Albert River
