Perth Stadium Station has been designed to move 28,000 people within an hour after and event at
Perth Stadium.
The second largest train station in Perth
13. Perth Stadium Station
Six platform faces, each with a dedicated destination .
Dedicated destination platforms allows for a train to leave the station every two to three minutes.
Allows for priority access for mobility impaired passengers, emergency services and operational
management staff.
14. Perth Stadium Station & Storage Yard
Stow lines will be built within the rail reserve to store trains at the station on event days.
A small stowage facility will also be built within the rail reserve between Great Eastern Highway
and Victoria Park Station to store up to four six-car trains on event days (not shown on the image
below). See the fact sheet (http://www.perthstadium.com.au/news-and-information/fact-
sheets/victoria-park-stow-road)

The deck will be a minimum of 9.0m wide to
allow for a capacity crowd exiting the
stadium.
There are two pause points, which will
feature greenery and seating.

Revegetation/landscaping
20. Managing construction impacts
Construction and Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) developed with the Stadium
team and Department of Parks and Wildlife will manage noise, dust, vibration and river environment
during construction.
Traffic management plan developed to guide access and safety for pedestrians, cyclists, local traffic and
construction traffic movements.
Up to 120 truck movements per day on East Perth side in January/February 2016 and at completion of
the project to remove causeways.
Detoured paths on Burswood and East Perth side from November 2015 to March 2017, temporary
paths will be provided around the construction areas during this time.
Construction noise, dust and vibration (ground and underwater) monitoring to be undertaken.
