25. • The Green Lights program reported an annual savings of $1,591,738 as of 10/96.
The total amount of energy saved under this program since 1991 is 16 million

26. Conclusion
From a strategic viewpoint, many organizations are
focusing on issues such as: quick response (to
customer needs), customer relationships, core
competence, and continuous improvement, in addition
to conventional indicators including: cost control and
technology. Implementing an ISO-14001 EMS system
could positively influence customers’ perceptions
about companies.
