A. RESPONSIBILITIES:-
As a in charge Quality and Blending- Supervise the overall production.
Overall responsible for OQI (overall quality index) and Quality audit of
Unit against target set by Head office.
Represent the unit as MR for ISO 22K implementation, concept also
aware HACCP & GMP.
Involvement in implementation of production planning/quality module
in SAP. Participate in BOM fixing in SAP.
Inspect and evaluate raw materials, packaging materials upon receiving.
Evaluate finished products by sensory and physical analysis.
Troubleshoot in – line problems to prevent quality issues.
Conduct quarterly inventory of wet and dry goods and do monthly
ageing report of all items.
Solely responsible for physical verification of Raw materials & FF.
Monitor in house and third party calibration of laboratory equipment’s.
Ensure the availability of process control system for traceability from
material preparation, work in process, finished goods and distributor.
Prepares reagents and supplies for laboratory use chemicals.
Attend to quality related product complaints and initiates investigation
of the complaint.

Ohms food Products established in 1973 itself as a growing name for preparing
different food items. It has two manufacturing plant suitably located near the
fruit belts close to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India equipped with the latest
machinery. They manufacturing mainly tomato sauce, tomato puree, canned
tomato puree, mixed fruit jam, mango jam, pineapple jam, grape crush, rose
syrup, squash, lime cordial, mango pulp etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise incoming quality to ensure that is received meets the quality
Parameters lay down by the specifications.
Responsible for canning of tomato puree and mango pulp.
Responsible for producing various fruit Jam, syrup and lime cordial.
Responsible formaximum yield of producing mango and other fruit pulp
with minimum wastages.
Also making the products for 3rd party like DRUK (Jam) for Bhutan food
products.
To ensure operating unit follows the right sampling plan (as per the
issued SOP), tests the packaging materials as per the specifications and
authorizes issue of such approved packaging materials to the plant.
