State, Nigeria.
POST: Blending Supervisor
DUTY:
 Supervise and Monitor the blending activities to achieve a set standard.
 Training of blending assistants and enforcing current good manufacturing practise [cGMP]
 Preparing daily and Monthly blending report
 Meeting with Production Manager on daily basis to reconcile the volume of blend used and way
to check mate wastages.
 Meeting with Quality Control Manager on the quality of raw materials received and the quality of
products produced
 Weekly reconciliation of data generated on Ebizframe[Oracle 11G] and physical data.
 Leading fire, safety team and training staff on fire safety.
2. 2011- MARCH 2015: RELIANT DISTILLERIES LTD-Akure, Ondo State,
Nigeria.
POST: Quality Control Officer and Blending Supervisor
DUTY:
 To supervise the blending process to achieve a required standard.
 Complete Laboratory analysis of every mixing stage to final stage of production.
 To determine the O
G, pH, specific Gravity, Total acidity, Refractive index, brix etc present in the
raw and finished products.
 To calculate the Standard amount of Ethyl Neutral Alcohol (ENA) needed for blending.
 To calculate the Standard amount of Flavour needed for blending.
 Online analysis of the strength of product at interval.
 Complete laboratory analysis of raw materials, e.g resin, diesel, ENA,water, sugar, citric acid etc.
 Supervision of water treatments from the dam to DM water to be used for blending.
 To Calculate the amount of aluminium sulphate(Alum) and calcium hypochlorite (Chlorine) required for
each stages of pumping water from the dam
 Recharging of Cation, anion and mixed resin bed as at when due to make the surface of the resin more
reactive.
 Recharge the softener as at when due to remove hardness from the water to be used in boiler.
 To calculate the amount of waste generated, and the amount of chemical to be added in ETP.
 Supervision of effluent treatment plant (ETP) operators to make sure that non toxic effluents are
discharged to the environment.
 To ensure current good manufacturing practises (cGMP) are strictly followed.
 Performing monthly reports of production, blending, laboratory and factory activities.
 Blending of both alcohol (Gin, Schnapps, Whisky, Rum, Brandy, Bitters) and non-alcoholic grape fruit

 Liase with the company and other regulatory agencies such as NAFDAC, NESREA, SON, Ministry of
Environment, Consumer protection agencies etc.

POST: Quality Control Officer
DUTY:
 Quality Control of raw materials, packaging materials, e.g. Alum, Chlorine, pet- bottles, Nylon,
etc
 Quality control of finished product to ensure it conform with NAFDAC/WHO Standards
 Ensure the ppm of chlorine concentration does not exceed NAFDAC/WHO standard,
 Ensure proper sealing and labelling of finished products.
 Ensure Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) of cleaning of equipments.
 Making sure that good current manufacturing practise (cGMP) is strictly adhering to.
 Supervise the washing of PVC tanks, Industrial Modules, Micron filters (candles), UV light, etc.
 Ensure that production premises and floor are wash and clean with 1% chlorine on daily basis.
 Giving monthly report of laboratory analysis, and production activities.
4. 2007 – 2008 NATIONAL AGENCY FOR FOOD AND DRUG

DUTY:
 Physical Analysis of Sea Food and Alcoholic Beverages
 Chemical Analysis of Sea Food includes: Total Volatile Nitrogen (TVN), Sodium Chloride (NaCl),
and determination of trace metals using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) etc.
 Chemical Analysis of Alcoholic Beverages e.g. determination of: Total Solid, Total Acidity,
Specific gravity, Original gravity of worth, Alcoholic content using AOAC chart, Sulphur IV
Oxide (SO2), Carbon IV Oxide (CO2), Ester and Sugar, Contaminants in Alcohol using Gas
Chromatography (GC).
 Computation of Laboratory Result in NAFDAC e-Lab.
