To scrutinize the application received online in FICS/ Physically for the clearance of imported
food articles.
To check the ingredients / additives of imported products as per Food Safety and Standards Act,
2006, rules and regulations made thereunder.
To carry out inspection of imported food articles, checking physical condition of consignment and
the label for compliance of FSS ( Packaging and labelling ) Regulations, 2011 and guidelines
issued by FSSAI time to time. If the label found non compliance, recommended for rejection of
the consignment.
To draw samples of imported food articles based on risk based sampling as per FICS.
To check the laboratory report with respect to the specification of product mentioned in FSSR.

Dealing with Syrup making, WaterTreatment Plant operation & RMPM testing.
Ensuring proper dosing and optimized Chemical consumption in WTP & Syrup Room due to
which achieved C&C cost 2.19 Rs. CPC as against AOP 2.36 Rs. CPC YTD 2014.
Drive food safety culture in process area according to AIB, GQA& FSSC requirements
because of that we cleared AIB unannounced audit in Bazpur plant first time with 850 score
in 2014.
To ensure no delay in syrup delivery by proactive syrup planning as against production plan.
Actively participated in various trials related to new products of PepsiCo like NMS, 7-up Nile
etc.
To ensure availability of Water (i.e. T/W, S/W and R.S/W) with right Specifications for
Processes.
Annual maintenance in process area i.e. syrup room and WTP and maintaining inventory of
spares.
To ensure online-timely & accurate generation & closing of syrup orders. Maintaining ODS
Hygiene by entering quality data in M&W.
Dealing with technical operation and analysis of CSD & Reverse osmosis plant i.e. PET bottle
analysis, Man power handling, G.V., Brix, T.A., I.B. analysis, torque analysis, net content,
ozone analysis etc.
To Ensure 100% adherence to safety Compliance applicable to Function and the Plant as per
the safety requirement specified.
To ensure Vendors of RMPM has been approved by PepsiCo and rejection of all OOS
materials.
2. To conduct training programs periodically to enhance the skill of associates and contract
labours.
Daily tracking of water consumption & highlight the wastage area & making action plan to
get job done because of that we achieve WUR 10.04 as against AOP 11.05 YTD 2014.
To plan & execute timely sanitations in process area according to production plan.
To ensured all activities related to TPM in Syrup Room & WTP like tagging of abnormalities,
timely JH, OPL and Kaizen.
