3. INTRODUCTION
What is war? The definition states that, ”War is a armed
conflict between different countries or different groups within
the countries.”
It is created by politician, compounded by bureaucrats and
fought by the soldiers.
Dwight D. Eisenhower, the third president of united states
once did tell, “I hate war as only a soldier who lived it can, only
as one who has seen its brutality, its futility, its stupidity.”

5. WHO AND WHEN SAW
THE WARS?
Back then at the stone age when mankind had just made the
appearance on earth till the date today, we had seen wars.
Earlier we used to fight for our existence and today we fight
for dominance. Ages have passed but nothing has changed
much.
Here in this presentation we have mostly focused on World
War I and World War II.

Powers.

• Lusitania passenger liner is sunk, with 1,200 live lost.(ON 7TH MAY,1915)
• London attacked from Air by German Zeppelin.
• A Million Casualties In 10 Months, Germany aims to bleed France White.
• At sea battle of Jutland takes place.
• United States Joins The War.
• Armistice Signed On November 11, Ending The War At 11 AM.

• Germany Invades Poland On 1 September, Britain And France Declare War on
Germany Two Days later.(1939)
• As Germany Aims to defeat All The Allied Nation, They Get Success On Defeating
Denmark, Norway And Later On France, Holland, And Western Europe Encountered
By The Blitzkrieg. (1940)
• British Wins The battle of Britain, Forces Hitler To postpone invasion plan(1940).
• Japan Attacks The Pearl Harbor On 7 December 1941, And So US Enters The War.
• US Sea Based Aircraft Destroyed Four Japanese Carriers And Cruiser, Marking The
Beginning of Pacific War.(1942)
• Russians Defeat Germans In Stalingrad War.(1943)
• Russians Reach Berlin; Hitler Commit Suicide And Germany Surrenders On 7 may.
• After Atomic Bombs Are Dropped On Japan And Hiroshima, Japan Surrenders On 14th
August.

11. WHY ATOMIC BOMB?
Japanese Attacked On Pearl
Harbor!
• America Was Unhappy with The Strategy Of Japan
On Conquering China, So They Stopped Trade
Relationship Among Them.
• Japanese Started Considering America AS a Threat,
So On December 7, 1941 They Attacked On Neutral
America.
• The Attack Was So Devastating That Only In 2 Hours
It Killed More Than 2000 Soldiers And Civilians and
It also Destroyed Their 20 Naval Vessels, Eight
Enormous Battleship, And Almost 200 Hundred
Airplanes.
• After This Japanese Empire Didn’t Stop, After
Conquering Indian Ocean They Put Their Eye On
Pacific Ocean. And America Was Not In Mood To
Loose This Time
America Dropped Atomic Bomb!
• After The Surprise Attack On Pearl Harbor By
Japanese, America Declared War On Japan. So
The War Was Declared Against America By
Germany.
• Since 1940, Americans Were working On Nuclear
Weapon Research, As Albert Einstein Warned
Them That Germany would Be Conducting
Research On It.
• After The Suicide Of Hitler, Germany Had
Surrendered And Only Japanese Were On The
War. United States Wanted Speedy End Of World
War II.
• America Dropped Atomic Bomb On Nagasaki And
Hiroshima. It Was Very Devastating And No One
Could Stand With Such a Disastrous Man Made
Calamities. It Resulted In Many More Thousands
Deaths Of The Innocent People On The Same Day
And On The Following Weeks Several More Died
