2. Bill Fontana first started off as a music composer,
however, did not want to carry on doing
something he did not fully enjoy. He attended
New School for Social Research and he carried
on working with music but in a different way. He
began to record natural and environmental
sounds for example his most famous ‘Pigeon
Sounds’. Setting up a microphone in an old
church ruin, Fontana recorded the sounds
echoing through the church which mostly
consisted of pigeons.

4. Hairspray is a 2007 American musical film
based on the 2002 Broadway musical of the
same name, which in turn was based on
John Waters's 1988 comedy film of the same
name. Set in 1962 Baltimore, Maryland, the
film follows the "pleasantly plump" teenager
Tracy Turnblad as she pursues stardom as a
dancer on a local TV show and rallies against
racial segregation.
