1. In the Arley Hall production my role was a dresser. In this role, my manager (the
wardrobe mistress) gave me a set room to be in charge of.I was in charge of the
museum and had to take a register so I was aware of who was in my set room.
Originally we had set people that we had to dress during quick changes but later
realised that it was much easier and less stress would be involved to have set rooms.
The equipment that I brought was an iron, safety pins and clear thread. All of this
equipment was used, therefore, was useful. The duties and responsibilities that I
carried out were, using safety pins to pin costumes back if necessary and iron any
costumes. I also had to help the dancers if they needed any help with putting
costumes (like leotards) on. The dancers could also come to me if they were not sure
if they were on or not as I was equipped with a new running order.
