Angles
• Right Angle triangle
• Acute Angle triangle
• Obtuse Angle triangle

Classification of Angles
15. Classification of Angles
• Acute Angle: acute" meaning "small" is
an angle smaller than a right angle. The range
of an acute angle is between 0 and 90
degrees.
22. Congruent figures or objects
• Same Shape, same size
• Two figures or objects are congruent if they
have the same shape and size
23. Similar figures or objects
• The figures have the same shape, but not
the same size.
24. Similar figures or objects
• Two polygons of the same number of sides are similar
if
(i) Their corresponding angles are equal and
(ii) Their corresponding sides are in the same ratio(or
proportion)

25. What is Polygon?
• A polygon is any 2-dimensional shape formed
with straight lines. Triangles, quadrilaterals,
pentagons, and hexagons are all examples of
polygons.
• The name tells you how many sides the shape
has. For example, a triangle has three sides, and a
quadrilateral has four sides, pentagon has five
sides and hexagons has
• Note: Circle is not polygon.
