PRESENT DUTIES
I joined ‘KHALED JUFFALI INDUSTRIAL COMPANY (KJIC) (www.kjgroup.com), Al-Khobar, Saudi
Arabia, around one year ago in the capacity of “EPC-Proposals Manager” and worked around six
months in that capacity.
Recently, I have completed the Shut Down of one of the SABICs Petro Chemical Plant in Jubail,
Saudia, in the capacity of “I/C Night Shift”. Scope included the maintenance of various Columns,
Reactors and Heat Exchangers etc. in the limited period of 35 days.
Earlier worked at one of KJIC’s project site in the Capacity of “SITE MANAGER” at ‘LUBEREF YANBU
REFINERY EXPANSION PROJECT’, Saudi Arabia.
Main scope of work comprises of “Steam Tracing Of Lube Oil Lines” comprises of two types of steam
tracers (Solution Annealed Tubes & Pre-Insulated Tubes) having total length of more than 182 kM of
lines.

In DESCON, I played active role in ‘EPC Proposals’ pertaining, mainly, in Oil & Gas sector, not only in
Pakistan but also for Middle East region, in the capacity of ‘Proposals Manager / Engineer’.
After winning the Proposals, I have been deputed on Construction Sites in various capacities, whose
detail is as under:
Urea Debottlenecking Project @Fertil-1, UAE
As a Proposal Engineer, handled ‘Mechanical’ part of the CO2 area of the Urea Plant Debottlenecking
project. Responsibilities included study of ITB documents and preparation of RFQs for Equipment,
Piping and Piping Bulks along with the review of quotes and handled vendors’ queries for specific
area.
Won the proposal, worth US $ 170 Million.
- PROJECT ENGINEER @ FERTIL – 1 ( Jan. 2007 – Feb. 2008 )
After winning the Project, I was assigned on the project site in the capacity of Project
Engineer. Main role was to assist the Construction Manager in CO2 recovery area construction
activities.
After one year, I was assigned back to Proposals in the Head Office.

Scope of Project

equipment in two wellhead areas in the Bab region. Scope also comprises of installation of 10kM , 04
inch diameter underground pipe line for the supply of gas in well head areas.
