Editor's Notes
Go over tips for claiming their account. Some students probably have already done this, in which case you can just remind them about password requirements and that students must change their password every 90 days.
Overview of what main page looks like.
Green box: Where holds will show up. Mentioned the “fake” positive and negative indicators at the top and what they mean.
Blue box: Where to look to find your registration date. Students who are in Spring classes will soon be able to see their registration date for fall right there. They can click on details to get specific date & time.
Yellow box: Drop down menu for quick access to enrollment, grades, and unofficial transcript.
Black arrow: Click to take you to account information.
Account Summary Information: Students should know what they can find on each tab.
Summary: If there are outstanding charges they will appear here.
Activity: Students can view detailed activity for current and previous semesters.
Charges due: A more details breakdown of any outstanding charges
Payments: See if any payments have been made on account
Pending Aid: Students can look on this tab to see if they have any aid pending for current (or future) semesters. Students who receive financial aid should contact financial aid if there is nothing pending.
Enrollment & Shopping Cart:
Remind students that putting something in their shopping cart does not guarantee a seat. Students must click “Proceed to step 2 of 3” to finalize their enrollment.
Students can view their class schedule, add courses, drop courses, etc. from this page.
Remind students about the Swap feature and that it is always better to use that rather than to drop and add. Explain how swap works.
Overview of Degree Audit. Explain how to tell when something is fulfilled, in progress, or not complete.
Mention “Courses not Counted Toward Degree”
Mention features of Degree Audit such as “What If” “Look Ahead” “GPA Calc” “Planner”
Explain Registration View and why it can be helpful.
