Task explanation
The activity in groups consists on creating a poster about their sense. For that, first day will
work with their team, looking for images on internet, basically, but they will also have the
possibilitytolookfortheminmagazines.Theywillalsobe using online dictionaries to resolve
their difficulties with the language. The result should be something like that:
Aftereachgroup have completedtheirownposter, we will create new groups with an expert
of eachsense (usingJigsawtechnique).Theywillneedtoshare the importantinformationwith
theirclassmatesabouttheirexpertsense.Inorderto help them to communicate themselves,
the teacher will provide a chart where will be the questions they need to ask each other and
the oral answers they will need to say (choosing from different options) and the chart to be
completed by the children (see the material in the following page).

2. Afterexchanging the information, every kid will return with their inicial work-team. The last
thingthey need to do it is to present their posters to their classmates and hang them around
the class. Each group will assess the other’s team posters and their own completing a rubric
like the following ones:
