Toyota Tsusho Corporation of Japan. Incorporated in 1989, the Company

8. PRODUCTION PLANNING & CONTROL
The purpose of this department is production planning and capacity planning.
The basic function of this department is:
• project monitoring
• capacity planning of the plant
• ordering of material, inspection of shortage
• To make monthly rundown on the basis of discussion done in production meeting.
• To make production plan on the basis of CKD order.
9. Basic Material Required in Production of a Vehicle
• MSP is multi source part which is imported from Thailand and Singapore &
JSP is Japan source part which is imported from Japan. These are the kits
that are imported in lot form.
10. • Steel sheets are imported from Japan and Thailand on the basis of
production requirement
• PxP imported from KUO Taiwan, TLI & TAP Philippines, TMT Thailand, TMI
Indonesia, and UMK Singapore. These are the material that is needed to
fulfill local aspects of IMC. For e.g.; we import in IMC.
• Direct consumable ordered in N-4, N-2, N cycle on the basis of production
requirement. There is no fixed standard for the ordering of DC due to the
reason that their usage varies because of temperature, operating conditions
that is some are operating manually and some by machines. DC is either
shipped by sea or plane due to the expiry issues.
• IMC logic According to IMC after production, availability of stock for hot
moving variant should be available for 7 days and for slow moving variant
stock should be of 3 days.
• PAMS logic create a link between supplier and importer to maintain capacity
of material needed in a specific month before the desire month, which
means to order each stock as safety before the arrival of desired month in
which production needed. IMC operates manually due to unavailability of
this system, because this is only applicable for part by part.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Indus Motor Company follows a very dynamic supply
chain process. The sourcing of parts is not limited to
imports, but local parts also play an essential role.
Sourcing is categorized into three parts.
12. APPLICATION of JIT
Among the two primary pillars of TPS, Just In Time (JIT) is the most famous one. The
JIT concepts aims to produce and deliver the right parts, in the right amount, at the
right time using the minimum necessary resources. This system reduces inventory, and
strives to prevents both early and over production.
