6. The way to begin the Interview
1. Welcome the candidate, introduce yourself and the Selection
Committee
2. Questions for establishing nice and comfortable atmosphere:
“How was the day so far for you?” short small talk. Ask if
there are any questions so far.
3. Explain the fact that you will make notes and all will be
asking questions.
4. Indicate the duration of the interview and ask (nicely) that
the answers should be precise and not too long (1 minute to
think/2 minutes to answer).

night but there's no one there to pick you up. What do you do?
9. Imagine you are in Russia, there is not a single English word in the public place,

You arrive at the other country and they inform you that there is a delay in the
program and that it starts after 1 week. What do you do?
If the living condition in the internship is far lower than your expectation, what do
you think and do at that time?
Imagine that you have no support from the host LC. How will you deal with that?
