Abstract
Does Blended Learning coupled with Peer Instruction make any difference for
a student? The current trends in education include Flipped Classrooms,
Blended Learning, Collaborative Learning, Active and Engaged Learning.
Peer Instruction is able to incorporate many of these trends but it has to be
designed and not left to chance. This instructional design (ID)/strategy have
been designed into the lessons either within or outside the classroom, so how
do educators design their lessons for this to happen? ID can deliver on this
and blend approaches of familiar theories with relevant experiences that
would result in more practical and real world experiences.
