Study on mood board making
Introduction:
A mood board is essentially a collage of images, text and other objects that describe our design
ideas and define the brand. The mood board helps us to define the brand identity and often serves
as a guide when it comes to doing design work for business. If someone wants to launch a new
brand or simply trying to refresh their brand identity, a mood board is a good place to start.
It's purpose is to capture the ambiance of the project with a collection of images, thoughts, color
panels, and general design ideas. Many designers use mood boards in different ways, but they all
have the same goal, create a visualization of the concept before production to convey the feel of
the project. The main purpose of the mood board is to show how future garments will actually look
like. Since mood boards are usually inspired by something, the design is given more importance
in this case. Besides, the color palette also exists in this board. As a result, it is easy to understand
what color combination is used to highlight the design.
Objectives:
✓ Establishing a consistent aesthetic and style for a project: Mood boards can be used to
gather and organize visual inspiration that aligns with the project's overall concept and
vision.
✓ Providing a visual reference for the creative team: A mood board can serve as a reference
point for designers, writers, and other creatives working on a project, helping to keep the
project on track and aligned with the overall concept.
✓ Communicating the project's direction to clients and stakeholders: A mood board can be
used as a tool for presenting and discussing the project's concept and aesthetic with clients
and other stakeholders, helping to ensure that everyone is on the same page.
✓ Inspiration: mood board can serve as a source of inspiration for the creative team, it can be
a starting point for brainstorming ideas and concepts.
✓ Helping to identify and resolve design challenges: A mood board can help to highlight any
potential design challenges that may arise and work towards resolving them.
✓ Setting a tone and mood: Moldboard can be used to set a tone and mood for the project, it
can be used to communicate emotions and feelings associated with the project.
Basic concept of Our Mood board:
Our concept of making mood board is to make a mood board inspired by jungle theme and we will
make products for kids. As jungle is a peaceful and green place, we want to make a mood bord
which will give a massage of “Go green’’ and make a peaceful, sustainable world. And we will
develop a product by using left over fabrics, trims and accessories of different industries by
collecting them which will reduce wastage and also it will cost effective. We make this Mood
board to make product for kid’s fashion shows to give everyone our massage through our product.
kids are innocent and this is the time they start to learn, our target is to make them conscious about
to make a peaceful and sustainable world and also, to make proper use of thing to reduce wastage
which will also create a positive effect to our economy.
Our mood board include images of jungle foliage, animals, and landscapes, as well as textures and
patterns that evoke a tropical or jungle feel. The mood board may also include color swatches,
typography, and other design elements that align with the jungle theme. The purpose of a mood
board is to provide a clear and cohesive visual representation of the project's aesthetic, which can
guide the design process and ensure that all elements are consistent with the overall theme.
Principles:
✓ Target customer: Kids (Both boys and Girls), (Age-4 to 6 years old)
✓ Theme: “Jungle Theme”
✓ Quotes: “Sustainable Fashion is not a trend but the future”
✓ Brand logo:
Inspiration:
We are working on “Jungle theme” inspired mood board to develop our product. A jungle theme
inspired mood board is a visual representation of the peace, aesthetic, color palette, and overall
feel of a jungle-themed project. Which inspired us for “Go Green” and to spread peace in the
world by planting more and more trees, saves our animal lives, not produce wastage which will
harm our environment and make a Sustainable world.
Color:
we mainly used here “Green’’ and “White’’ color and other colors related to Jungle theme. Green
is often associated with feelings of tranquility, relaxation, and balance. It can also be seen as a
symbol of growth, renewal, and harmony. White is often associated with feelings of purity,
innocence, and cleanliness. It can also be seen as a symbol of simplicity, minimalism, and
neutrality. As we are working on jungle theme these colors are relatable with our theme and give
us a vibe of peace.
Our Developed Product:
Outcome:
Green & White is a term that refers to the promotion of sustainability and peace. The specific
outcomes of this concept will vary depending on the context and implementation, but some
possible outcomes include:
✓ Increased use of renewable energy sources and decrease in greenhouse gas emissions.
✓ Preservation and protection of natural resources and ecosystems.
✓ Implementation of sustainable practices in industries and businesses.
✓ Reduction of poverty and inequality.
✓ Promotion of peaceful conflict resolution and reduction in armed conflicts.
✓ Increased collaboration and cooperation among nations and communities to address global
challenges.
✓ Improved quality of life and well-being for all individuals and communities.
It is important to note that achieving these outcomes will likely require significant changes and
investments in technology, policy, and societal values.
Conclusion:
The importance of making a mood board lies in its ability to help communicate a specific vision
or direction, and to gather inspiration and ideas from various sources. It can also help to establish
a consistent aesthetic and ensure that all elements of a project are on-brand. Additionally, a mood
board can help to identify potential design problems early on in the creative process, and can be
used as a reference throughout the project to ensure consistency.

A jungle theme inspired mood board is a visual representation of the peace, aesthetic, color palette, and overall feel of a jungle-themed project. Which inspired us for “Go Green” and to spread peace in the world by planting more and more trees, saves our animal lives, not produce wastage which will harm our environment and make a Sustainable world. Color: we mainly used here “Green’’ and “White’’ color and other colors related to Jungle theme. Green is often associated with feelings of tranquility, relaxation, and balance. It can also be seen as a symbol of growth, renewal, and harmony. White is often associated with feelings of purity, innocence, and cleanliness. It can also be seen as a symbol of simplicity, minimalism, and neutrality. As we are working on jungle theme these colors are relatable with our theme and give us a vibe of peace. The specific outcomes of this concept will vary depending on the context and implementation, but some possible outcomes include: ✓ Increased use of renewable energy sources and decrease in greenhouse gas emissions. ✓ Preservation and protection of natural resources and ecosystems. ✓ Implementation of sustainable practices in industries and businesses. ✓ Reduction of poverty and inequality. ✓ Promotion of peaceful conflict resolution and reduction in armed conflicts. ✓ Increased collaboration and cooperation among nations and communities to address global challenges. ✓ Improved quality of life and well-being for all individuals and communities.
