1. Study on mood board making
Introduction:
A mood board is essentially a collage of images, text and other objects that describe our design
ideas and define the brand. The mood board helps us to define the brand identity and often serves
as a guide when it comes to doing design work for business. If someone wants to launch a new
brand or simply trying to refresh their brand identity, a mood board is a good place to start.
It's purpose is to capture the ambiance of the project with a collection of images, thoughts, color
panels, and general design ideas. Many designers use mood boards in different ways, but they all
have the same goal, create a visualization of the concept before production to convey the feel of
the project. The main purpose of the mood board is to show how future garments will actually look
like. Since mood boards are usually inspired by something, the design is given more importance
in this case. Besides, the color palette also exists in this board. As a result, it is easy to understand
what color combination is used to highlight the design.

✓ Establishing a consistent aesthetic and style for a project: Mood boards can be used to
gather and organize visual inspiration that aligns with the project's overall concept and

a starting point for brainstorming ideas and concepts.
