  7. 7. Apple’s Recycling Robot ©3G4G • In 2016, Apple created a robot called ‘Liam’ designed to take apart your old iPhone for recycling purposes. (Video) • Back in April 2018, ahead of Earth Day, Apple has debuted a new robot named ‘Daisy’ (successor to Liam) that can take apart iPhones in order to recover valuable materials inside. (Video) • Capable of taking apart nine different versions of the iPhone • Disassemble up to 200 iPhones an hour. • It also separates parts and removes certain components as it goes.
