his own plays.)

● Shakespear’s never the same, “every age and every writer
reinvents its own Shakespeare. All this from a man who
we’re still not sure actually wrote the plays that bear his
name”- This is stating how William Shakespeare is a
timeless figure that is almost a resource to people in
society.
● Relating to Taming of the Shrew-Musical “Kiss Me Kate”
● West Side Story is a revoking story of Romeo and Juliet
● Shakespeare was seen as an authority through how his work
appeared for many centuries, and can be seen as a way of
resource. Shakespeare today is someone everyone knows
and affects the way of specific modern writings and
paradies that have been created as well.
● opposite relationship, action, and influence of characters
and a stories plot
● Through the chapter of “When in doubt, It’s from
Shakespeare” T.S. Elliot’s story “the lovesong of J. Alfred
Peacock” relates to hamlet showing how he isn’t a good
king which is the same thing that is stated to hamlet. This is
just one symbolization of intertextuality that has an impact
from Shakespeare’s writing.
● Shakespeare is a form of idea sources for writers, because
as stated previously he is an authority figure where his
written work is used in writings now either as a plot, or a
complete parody of a Shakespeare writing. Because of this
Shakespeare and his ideas have definitely been some of the
best out of any writers because of how well known he is,
and how much they are used today.

a form of poet known for writing epics and heroic poems which,
Shakespeare can be known for because of how he is classic and
used a lot.
SUMMARY: This entire chapter of the story is a complete explanation of Shakespeare’s way of writing
and how his writing(s) as well as his name have appeared many times through several different stories for
many, many years. After this entire chapter I have learned that there are many reasons for Shakespeare
reappearing over history as well as there being many more sources of information through different
writings.
