promotion & distribution of ideas, goods

satisfy individual & organizational.

1) SOCIETAL MARKETING
• A company should make marketing
decisions not only by considering
consumers wants , the company’s
requirements but also society’s long term
interests.
• It is closely linked with Corporate Social
Responsibility and Sustainable
Development.
2) ONLINE MARKETING
• Online marketing is a set of tools
and methodologies used for
promoting products and services
through the internet.
• Online marketing includes a wider
range of marketing elements due to
the extra channels and marketing
mechanisms available on the
internet.
3) DIRECT MARKETING
• Direct marketing is a form of
advertising where organizations
communicate directly to customers
through a variety of media including
cell phone text messaging, email etc.
• It includes Telemarketing, Direct mail,
Internet selling etc.
4) SERVICE MARKETING
• Benefits that one party can offer to
another which is essentially intangible &
does not result in the ownership of
anything.
• It includes telecommunication,
hospitality, airlines, tourism leisure etc.
• There can be 2 types of services
a. Consumer Services
b. Industrial Services
5) RURAL MARKETING
• Process of developing, pricing, promoting and
distributing rural specific goods and services
leading to desired exchange with rural customers
to satisfy their needs and wants.
• The rural market in India generates bigger
revenues in the country as the rural regions
comprise of the maximum consumers in this
country.
• Market for 2 goods :
a. Consumer Goods
b. Industrial Goods
6) GREEN MARKETING
• Green marketing refers to the process
of selling products and/or services
based on their environmental benefits.
• Such a product or service may be
environmentally friendly in itself or
produced in an environmentally
friendly way, such as: Being
manufactured in a sustainable fashion.
7) CONSUMERISM
• Designed to protect the rights of the
consumer.
• Comprises of set of activities of
government, business org. & concerned
consumers that are designed to protect
the rights of consumer.
• It stops unfair trade practices &
provides complete & latest
information.
