1. Post ProductionDiary-
Afterfilmingeverythingwe neededtofilmwe begantoeditthe initial roughcut.Thiswasorganised
and completedbyMiles,whowaslabellededitorof the production.Milesusedsoftware inside and
outside of school inorderto compile the footage together,howeverall membersof the group
contributedtowardspostproduction.
Day 1:
Date- 23/11/16
On the firstday of post-productionwe reviw3edfootagetosee whatclipswe wouldinclude (based
on quality) withinthe roughcut.Thiswas done forboththe title sequence footage andthe footage
for the openingsequence.We made sure all shotswere visuallyappealingtoaudiencesandmatched
the genre for ourproduction.We initiallyestablishedthe ideaof fearwithart throughvague
paintings,the defining the drawingwhichlinkeddirectlytothe narrative.Thiswasputintoorderby
me;Michelle thenimportedthe audioandtheme musicwe needed.Thiswasselectedbyusingtwo
potential audioclipswe hadpreviouslylookedatanddecidingwhichone bestsuitedthe genre of
our openingsequence aswell asvisual elements.We alsoallocatedrolesinthe followingorder:
Miles– Importedthe initial clipsandputitall togetherintimeline
Michelle –Importedmusicandput it intoplace
Bailee – Put the title sequence inorder
Chris – Put the kidnappingshotsinorder
Day 2:
Date- 24/11/16
On our seconddayof post-production,we hadmovedonfromthe title sequence andbegantoedit
the conversationaswell asthe kidnappingscene.Withinthis,we all hadindividual tasksasshown
below:
Miles– Went throughtitle sequence,cutdownsequence,addedstabilisertoshotsthat needed
Michelle –Cut downkidnappingclips,matchedupthe audio
Bailee – Editedaudio,matchedupaudiowithMichelle
Chris – Cut downkidnappingclips,putthemintoplace
Thisallowedustowork quicklyandefficientlyasateam, as well aseveryone contributingdifferent
aspects(egshorteningclipsandmatchingaudio)

2. Day 3:
Date- 28/11/16
Thiswas the finishingdayof editingthe roughcut,in whichwe finalisedall previousworkandmade
sure everythingwasof a highstandard.Thisincludedfeaturessuchasminimal colourcorrection,as
well addingtitlesinordertomake our productionasconventional andaestheticallypleasingto
audiencesaspossible.Thiswascollectivelycompletedatschool byall groupmembers,allowing
everyone tocontribute theirideas.
Evaluation:
Overall Iam verypleasedwiththe teamworkdemonstratedbyeveryone withinthe groupaswe all
worked well inthe post-productionstages,meaningeveryonefoundourdraftas of highqualityas
possible.Ourroughcutwas completedtothe bestof our abilityhoweverwe still needtochange
minorthingssuchas the lengthof the title sequence andsome shotsthatwere notas highstandard
as originallyplanned.The aspectof designatingmember’sindividual tasksworkedwellasitallowed
the rough cut to be generatedquickerwhilststill havingeveryone’sideasinvolved.
