7. Results of the revolution
• The revolution destroyed the idea of “divine
right” (absolute monarchy) in England.
• The revolution established that the ultimate
power in the state was devided between
monarch and parliament and the monarch
ruled with the consent of the governed.
• A constitutional monarchy was formed with
the making of the document known as Bill of
Rights.
