My questionnaire results show that
there was more females than males,
however I think this is due to the fact
that more females answered my
questionnaire than males did, this
means these results will not alter the
fact that my magazine will be based
for both genders, as there is not much
of a difference between how many
females and how many males
anyways. There will be sections in the
magazine that are mainly for men but
also sections that are mainly for
female so I balance it out.

These results show that my primary
audience would be for ages 16-18,
this is good because its mostly
around this age what listen to
EDM/Deep House, I think that if I
gave my questionnaire to the
general public, then the audience
that would listen to this magazine
would be people aged 16-25, so that
will be my secondary audience, this
will determine how my magazine
will be made, as it will be made to
suit the younger generation more
than anyone else as they will be the
majority of the readers.

that the majority of people who
answered my questionnaire
listen to rap, however I will still
base my magazine off Deep
house/EDM as if you add them
together there will be 9 people
who chose them 2 genres and
only 7 people who chose rap. I
will show that the genre of my
music magazine is easy to guess
as the main image will be really
bold and will stand out as a
definite DJ, and the name of my
magazine will also show that it
is based on Deep House/EDM
genre.

From my results I can see that
the most listened to magazine is
Vibe, which is a rap genre
magazine, when I make my
magazine it will not be anything
like vibe as vibe is the wrong
genre for my music magazine,
instead I will base my magazine
off other magazines such as
Mixmag and DJ, I will use the
same kind of features but I will
make it stand out so that people
would prefer to pick up my
music magazine rather than
others.

price of the magazine are all fairly
even, however £2-£3 have the
most votes by people which
means that my music magazine
will probably be priced at £2, this
is because anyone who is young
may not want to spend over that
so its good to keep it fairly cheap
where you are going to get more
sales, magazines such as Mixmag
and DJ have around the same
price for their magazines which is
good because if my magazine was
more expensive than them 2

magazine
My results show most people
like to find nothing in a music
magazine, which leads me to
believe they might not have
been bothered to answer the
question so they just said
nothing, for this fact I'm going to
take interviews as my top
answer as I cant just make a
magazine with nothing in
because that’s what most
people voted. This means my
magazine will involve mainly
interviews with artists but it will
also involve some of the other
features, this is because I want it
to have a broad range of
features that can suit everyone.
