This document summarizes two student projects from Leeds College BTEC Textiles and Fashion programs. The first project focused on florals, with research conducted on floral artists, trends, textile designers, and techniques. Students experimented with print, embroidery, and paper to develop and refine design concepts. The second project centered around stripes, with research on stripes in trend books and fashion. Students experimented with stripes using different materials, effects, pieces of sewn materials, yarns and threads, metals and plastics to explore design options.
