5. What the STaR Chart measures The chart measures a school’s use of technology in four main key areas: Teaching and Learning Educator Preparation and Development Administration and Support Services Infrastructure for Technology
6. Four levels of measurement In the four areas, there are four levels of competency for educators in the classroom. Early Technology – for the extremely inexperienced technology user. Developing Technology – for the novice user of technology Advanced Technology – for the experienced user of technology Target Technology – for the advanced user of technology.
