Intel Corporation has unveiled its first 8-core desktop processor, the Intel ® Core ™ i7-5960X Extreme Edition, previously known by the codename "Haswell-E", intended for power users who demand the most from their PC.
For the so-called 'fans', gamers and content creators who want the ultimate in performance, the first Intel processor to client that supports 16 processing threads and the new DDR4 memory will enable some of the fastest desktop systems available so far.
