Academic Innovations held a summer workshop where participants learned about new teaching technologies like using iPods and apps in the classroom. They discussed universal design for learning and Bloom's Taxonomy, and sharing best teaching activities. The workshop also covered assessment and evaluation tools like rubrics, how to use the rubric tool in Blackboard, and hands-on training. Participants learned how to create slide presentations, use student response systems, and redesign courses to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
