• You may want to start with a social/environmental issue
that you’d like to target OR you may want to start with a
product idea and link it to a social/environmental issue
that interests you.
• You need to do some research online.
• You may want to link your idea conception to a NIST
service group.
• Don’t forget to start with why, then how, then what

4. YOURTASKTODAY:
• Prepare a Google Slideshow pitch of your top three
ideas to present to the class next period to receive
feedback.
• Include the problem you’re trying to tackle (backed up
with facts on why it’s important), the why, & the
product that you’re thinking of proposing.

5. Pitching ideas
for Feedback
Each group will present their 3 initial ideas for Social Enterprises.
Your job is to give honest, supportive and helpful feedback to your
classmates so that they can develop a business plan for their
‘best’ Social Enterprise idea.
Please use the feedback sheet provided by your teacher to give
your feedback.
You may write more on the back as necessary.
