Short description of tasks
• Students have to order crêpes in French
and have a short talk with the MLA or the
teacher
Aims and Objectives
• Let them discover an aspect of the French
culture
• Use the basics (introduce themselves), be
able to say how are they and why, use the
conditional mode (je voudrais)

Become more confident by having a talk in a day-
to-day life situation
Improved their basics language skills. It was very
important for a class with a low-level language in French
Gave them pleasure to speak French. We could
feel the lack of pressure contrary to when they do a
« classic » activity

4. Additional Detail
• During this period pupils spoke in French to order
crêpes but then, as never before, they tried to speak
with me in French about my life in France. It definitely
gave them more confidence
