Defining litter:any manufactured or processed solid waste that enters to the environment from any source. It is a highly pervasive and visible form of pollution that has harmful impacts on wildlife and human health.

EFFECTS: it hurts people, animals and environment.Millions of dollars had been spent because this problem. Rain flow with litter directly to beaches and rivers. Affect the animals and plants habitats.
SOLUTIONS…1. Cleanups: 	Cleaning up the trash using paid employees and volunteers.2. Laws and Regulations: International, national, and statewide laws that prohibit littering and the dumping of trash.
3. Prevention:	Proper Disposal: the majority of the litter comes from items we can all easily carry until we find a trash can.Waste Reduction: employing the three "Rs“ (Recycle, Reuse, Reduce). The last one: EDUCATION!
