Target Audience
   Q) Who would be the
    audience for your
     media product?
Identification of Target
                Audience
My target audience is aimed at both male and female,
the age of my readers is between 13 +. The genre of
my magazine is pop and will include all the latest
chart toppers. My magazine will appeal to all classes
e.g. Upper class. Finally the stereotype of my product
is for teenagers who enjoy listening to main stream
                          music.
Person 1
This person would be suitable for my target
audience as she looks quite mainstream
and into pop music. Her outfit is the
typical festival look that lots of other
people would wear, this shows that her
style is mainstream. She was at a festival
when the picture was taken, which
appeals to people who listen to pop
music. She appears to be a student
around the age of 18-20, this age fits
             into my product well.
Person 2
This person would be suitable for my target
audience as she looks quite mature so
would fit into the older target market I
aimed my product at. She is wearing
      casual clothes nothing to “different/
individual” her hair is nothing out of the
ordinary showing she has simple taste
and doesn't want to stand out to much.
This photo was taken when she was
wearing her casual clothes/style so I can
get a full view of what she really is it.
Finally she looks like she would listen to
main stream music that is played on the
radio, this is what my product includes.
Person 3
This person would be suitable for my target
audience as he looks in the late teens
early 20’s. His hair style in fairly
mainstream with the long hair at the
front and the short at the back, he is
also wearing “trendy” geek glasses that
a lot of people where these days. He
has a plain jumper on that doesn't
stand out showing he isn't into
individual pieces of clothing. Finally he
        causally standing and not being
         extravagant in his personality.
Person 4
This person would be suitable for my target
audience as she looks around 15-17,
she looks in to chart toppers as she is
wearing a groupie t-shirt. She is just
wearing jeans and a groupie t-shirt
which shows she isn't trying to be
different and stand out in what she is
wearing. Her hair is just straight with a
side parting, no bright colours or very
styled hair. She is also causally posing,
this person would appeal to my
younger but not to young age group for
                   my product.
Person 5
This person would be suitable for my target
audience as she looks about 25, she is
   wearing simple fashion statements with
denim shorts, black plain top and
necklace. The photo was taken at a
festival which means she must be into
some sort of chart topping music, as big
stars mostly perform at festivals. My
magazine includes this sort of music
and therefore I think this women would
     enjoy reading my product (magazine),
as it would appeal to her.
Person 6
This person would be suitable for my target
audience as she looks about 17-18, she
is wearing the classic shorts and a
jumper/top and wellies to a festival.
This shows that she isn’t very individual
so most likely wont be into rock or indie
music and properly into chart toppers.
She is smiling and showing the peace
sign at the same time, and has a few
         accessories on. My product will
properly appeal well to her, due to her
taste in music and lifestyle choice.
