The switching centers receives the control signals,
messages and forwards to the required destination.
A switching system is a collection of switching
elements arranged in a way to setup a communication
path between any two distant points
3. In computer communication, the switching technique
used is known as packet switching
In telephone network the switching method used is
called circuit switching

7. Trunk: A trunk is a line or link designed to handle
many signals simultaneously. It often consists of
multiple wires
Junctors : In a telephone junction box, a small section
of twisted wire pair that is used to attach incoming
lines with outgoing lines.
Subscriber circuit interface: It alerts the central
office system that user wishes to make a call. Transmitt
number to be called and convert signal to digital form.
