    • Pine Hill Middle School Mission Pine Hill Middle School strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which we educate the whole child.
    • Core Academic Program
      • Academic programs are structured to meet the needs of our students while aligning instruction to New Jersey Curriculum Standards.
      • In addition to core programs, the following programs are offered to those students who demonstrate eligibility:
              • Algebra -8 th Grade
              • Gifted and Talented – Grades 6-8
              • Project Success
              • Title One
              • National Junior Honor Society
    • 21 st Century Learners
      • Our students are exposed to the most up to date, state of the art technology used in education and the world today:
      • Smartboards in every classroom
      • Distance Learning/Virtual Fieldtrips
      • Computer Labs
      • Global Math Online Testing/Learnia
      • Renaissance STAR Reading & Math Programs
      • Accelerated Reading Program
    • Educating the Whole Child
      • Along with encouraging academic achievement
      • and positive behaviors on a daily basis, assemblies
      • and programs are provided to educate our students
      • on key issues relative to adolescence such as peer
      • pressure and bullying.

        • Marking Period Character Awards
        • Panther Press Star Students
    • Renaissance
      • The Renaissance Program is a 4-tiered cardholder program in which
      • students are validated for their academic, behavior, & attendance efforts through Renaissance Rallies and “Panther Pounces.”
      • Renaissance Rallies are themed activities such as Carnivals, Movies & Popcorn that reward students for their efforts.
      • “ Panther Pounce” rewards students through classroom visits by the Renaissance Committee during which individual students in the class are rewarded for positive achievements.
    • Student Activities
      • Students are encouraged to develop individual skills and talents, as
      • well as develop a sense of community awareness through the
      • following clubs and activities:
      • School Newspaper – The Panther Press
      • Yearbook Staff
      • Drama Club
      • Peer Mediation
      • Sports Club
      • Bowling Club
      • Student Government
      • School Spirit Pep Rallies
    • Team Work!
      • Students at PHMS have the opportunity to learn how to work with others as a team, manage their time, and represent their school with respect and sportsmanship through the following sports programs:
      • Boys’ & Girls’ Soccer
      • Track
      • Field Hockey
      • Boys’ & Girls’ Basketball
      • Wrestling
      • Cross Country
      • Baseball & Softball
    • Performing Arts
      • Pine Hill Middle School offers students
      • opportunities to develop their talents through our
      • Instrumental Music and Choral Programs, as well
      • as Drama Club
      • Concert & Jazz Band have daily lessons along with practice during study hall and after school in preparation for the Winter & Spring Concerts.
      • The Choral Music Program students rehearse after school daily in preparation for the concerts.
    • Character Education
      • Awards Assemblies are held after each marking period to honor students for both academic and achievement. Students are nominated for character awards for demonstrating leadership, integrity, effort, cooperation, compassion, responsibility, and respect. Awards are also given for Principal’s List, Honor Roll, & Top Ten Accelerated Reader Points.
      • Principal’s List Pizza Parties are held each marking period.
      • Students are given snack passes when they are caught “doing the right thing.”
