1. Introduction:
Knittingisthe methodof creatingfabricby transformingacontinuesstrandsof yarnintoa seriesof
interlockingloops,eachroworsuch loopshangingbythe one immediatelyprecedingit.There are two
typesof knittedfabric:
1) Single jerseyknittedfabric
2)Double jerseyknittedfabric:[ a. RibStructure knitfabric b. InterlockStructure knitfabric]
Interlock structure:
Interlockis 1*1 rib variantstructure whichisproducedonspeciallydesignedm/c.These m/cprocess
twosetsof needlesinbothcylinderanddial andat leasttwoprocess.Interlockfabricmeans purl fabric.
Purl structure:
The 4th familyof knitstructuresisthe purl knit.Aswithrib structures,itrequiresthe participationof
bothneedle bedsforthe productionof the loops.Purl fabricare knittedonmachineswithspecial
equipment(onesetof needles)whichare double-endedlatchneedlesandspecial devicesof drive them,
allowingloopstobe intermeshedintwodirections.

Conclusion:
The circular Interlock machine is a very commonly used machine in country to make Interlock
knitted fabric. So this experiment has significance in our study life. In this experiment we sketch
the yarn path diagram of the machine, show the knitting action, cam system. We point out the
various specification of the machine. So the experiment helps us to know more.
