2. You’ve brainstormed ideas on the
themes and now want to
organise a local activity
You’ll see in this presentation, that
there are different aspects or
sections to organising activities
Your group can add its own “card”
if you have an idea for an activity.
Do write down or draw what it is!
You can now choose to develop
this activity using the Poster
Option or the Template Option!
3. DESIGNING A POSTER
Choose one of the posters at the back of the
presentation to place your cards
Look at your poster with the cards and reflect on
which cards might go together
Example: Get people to “create a map” could go with
getting partners to “use their specialist skill”
Stick the cards on the poster to make the connections
and you have your very own pop-up activity!
4. USING THE TemplateS
Print out the two activity templates at the back of the
presentation to place your cards
Pick a card from each section and place it in the
relevant space in the activity templates
Below each image, write down a description of why
you chose that image
You now have a flyer using the activity template to
promote and an action plan using the planning
template to involve people in organising it!
5. SHARING YOUR
POSTERS/TEMPLATES
Photograph these posters and put them online and
email everyone in the link
Use these posters to stimulate discussion on local
activities you could develop in your city group
Connect with other members in the Network who
want to develop similar local activities on the theme
Use this template to describe the local activities you
have…organised!
