poster really helps bring balance
throughout the composition.
There is just enough white space
and simplicity to help engage
viewers in a minimal way.

The color scheme throughout this
vector drawn painting gives off a
nice muted feel. The neutral colors
work and flow nicely together and
really helps give it a sense of
timelessness.

The light and dark elements of this
emulated photo creates rich
contrast which helps it stand out.
The glowing elements in a dark
field and sky really help to make
the contrast in the image pop.

strategically placed and decrease in
size creating a balanced hierarchy.

HOW DOES THIS PROJECT SHOW
KNOWLEDGE OF THIS TERM?
Without kerning this invitation would
not have come together. The
different typefaces come with their
own unique challenges, kerning and
leading being one of them. The 13th
section of the design particularly
needed kerning attention to bring
the 13 and the ‘th’ together.

HOW DOES THIS PROJECT SHOW
KNOWLEDGE OF THIS TERM?
Creating an infographic is very
challenging and would not be possible
to jam in a ton of information without
being able to change the leading.
Leading was used throughout each
section to get type to fit within boxes,
and have other type elements stand
out with to create contrast.

This layout helps the viewer with
readability by guiding the eye to where
it needs to go first. It is clean and
headlines/titles can clearly be read as it
flows to the other page and directs it to
the body copy. The size and alignments
of the body copy also commit to
helping readability.

This coffee product design gives off
a whole vibe by giving background
movement engaging in a rhythmic
feel. The texture of the packaging
helps to give contrast and aids in the
rhythm of the pattern of the leaves.
