2. HOW TO START
1. Click „Start‟ button on the corner of the taskbar on the bottom of the screen.
2. Then, click „Microsoft Access 2003‟.
3. HOW TO MAKE TABLE
Basically, access is little bit similar with excel. But maybe it looks more
complicated than excel.
Steps to make the table in Access:
• Click “New” (the paper icon on the top of the screen)
Then, click “Blank Database” on the corner of the screen.
• Now, you‟ll see like this. Just click “Create”
4. • After that, you‟ll see like this. Click “Create table in Design
View”
• It will pop a window like this. Just fill the columns with
whatever you wants, like this:
• After you done, click the “Primary Key”-> <- then click
Ctrl + S, a window will pop and please name your table,
then click Ok.
5. • After you done, let‟s close the table [X]. Now, click Query > Create query in
Design view. Then a window will pop, just click Add then Close.
• Please fill the Field with the things you have put in the Table before.
• Now, click close [X], then a window will pop then click Ok.
6. • Let‟s click Forms > Create form by using wizards.
• A window will pop and click [>>], click Next. Choose the type you want to use
on your table, such as Columnar, Tabular, Datasheet, Justified, PivotTable,
and PivotChart. I will choose Columnar. Then click Next again.
• Choose the design; you can choose what design you want. Then click Next.
After you done, click Finish!
7. YOU ARE ALMOST FINISHED!
Now you are finished! ALMOST! It will looks like this, you can type your
name/what ever you want to put in the column of the table.
The last, click Ctrl + S or File > Save As.
Click [►] to add more Query.
Look at the 1 and 2 number in the column
there. It means how many & what page/query
you are now.
8. HOW TO MAKE THE REPORT
You haven‟t finished yet~! Now you can make the report of the table you have
made before. You just need to follow these simple steps.
1. Click Reports > Create reports by using wizard.
2. Then it will pop a window, click [>>]. After that
Click Next > until a window that said about the
design appear. Select the design like columnar, tabular,
justified. And the orientation: portrait or landscape.
9. Just click Next until it‟s like this:
Change the title of the report. Mine is “Student
Data”. Then click Finish. After that a window will
pop and shows your report of the table you‟ve
made before. Example like this…
10. YOU’RE FINISHED
Okay, you‟ve finished making your table & the report. Now you can save your
report table using Ctrl + S, or click File > Save As... If you want to print it,
click File > Print
Here‟s the example of the report I‟ve made:
