  • 1. Presentations Academic Literacy MPharmacy   Semester week 9 2011  
  • 2. Presentations
    • With a partner prepare an oral presentation on a pharmacy-related issue.
    • You will deliver the presentation as a team to your teacher and class in your normal session in week 11, 05 December.
    • You will rehearse your presentation in week 10.
  • 3. Format
    • A summary of the key points or issues
    • A discussion of these key points
    • A list of references for any sources you have used
    • Each member of the team should use a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 visual aids (at least one of which should be an overhead transparency/PowerPoint slide).
  • 4. Giving presentations
    • Think about any presentations you have given. Describe your experience to your partner.
  • 5. Assessment
    • You will listen to three short presentations. Try and assess each talk using the sections on the assessment sheet as guidelines.
